Will there be a Windows 11, 12, or 13 coming out? If not why

This will be a very interesting article where you will know Will there be a Windows 11, 12, or 13 coming out? If not why.

Will there be a Windows 11, 12, or 13 coming out? If not why

Often I hear from friends & read online where many people questions when windows 11 will come as many people are tired of using windows 10. But to be honest as per Microsoft announcements windows 11 will not be coming as Microsoft is working on different strategies.

As we know windows XP was one of the most top operating systems which is still being used by many users or organizations also including windows 7 which is one of my favorite operating system I ever used. Coming to Windows 8 it was not that much popular and good operating system compared to Windows 7 & XP also windows 8.1 as many of us didn't like the interface and other parts of the operating system. Finally, in 2015 Microsoft released windows 10 which became popular & many of us liked the operating system as we got lots of security features and others with user-friendly interface. Windows 10 is also good for professional work & gaming which provides a better user experience.

When the new operating system is launched employees and users whoever markets the product get insiders to preview, developers preview, and new tutorials with training so that they get to know the new features better before release. Like this many other stuffs are done with a new operating system that comes with a new design.

If Microsoft stops making new operating systems then how people will get new security updates and features as we know one thing cannot run for longer periods of time.

What exactly happening is that Windows 10 is provided as service by Microsoft, meaning you will receive 2 major updates in a year one is around March and other in September where updates include security patches and feature updates. In case of security updates vulnerabilities are fixed and other security loopholes. In feature update, you will get new features regularly. All this will continue, as Microsoft don't have plans to launch new Windows.

Will there be a Windows 11, 12, or 13 coming out? If not why

You may have heard after windows 10 came it is not exactly called as "Windows 10" by Microsoft but they call it only Windows.

So what is final now? Will, there be a Windows 11, 12, or 13.

The answer is No, as of now. Your windows 10 will continue running you will continue receiving updates. Microsoft will continue to maintain windows 10 and maybe they can change the looks but they will also make sure that they don't mess up with features which is already there, as Microsoft wants to make sure people get used to Windows 10 like 7 or XP.

Even many people use windows XP now as they got used to it and they don't care about security and updates. So, they don't want to upgrade. For some users, only matters is their work other than features & looks of the operating system they are using.

Also, I have seen many people using pirated copies of windows so, they might face issues with updates. It is recommended to use genuine windows to enhance the security & stability of the operating system.

Now, if Microsoft changes their mind which we can't say anything in future maybe they can come up with new windows but as of now, Microsoft will stick with windows 10 by maintaining it updating it on regular basis with feature and security updates.

Hope this article was informative. I will keep on updating if I get to know something new. Do comment below about your opinions.

1. Is there going to be Windows 11?

    No. Not Yet.

2. Is there a Windows 9?

    What's after Windows 11?

How long will Windows 10 last?

    What will replace Windows 10

Windows 12 release date, windows 13 release date.

To be honest answer to the all of the above questions are Microsoft has gone into the model of releasing 2 feature upgrades a year and almost monthly updates for bug fixes, security fixes, enhancements for Windows 10. No new Windows OS is going to be released. Existing Windows 10 will keep getting updated. Hence, there will be no Windows 9, 11, 12, 13, etc. as of now.
