> Always take a look at the email address, not just the sender name.

> In such scam emails message is not written in the proper format or sometimes most of it will be like create urgency to react you on those emails.

> Never click on attachments or links unless and until you verify the email source, as those links can be phishing links or attachments can be embedded with malicious code.

Suppose For eg. If you receive an email from Paytm, you will see that the email address will be like "noreply@paytm.com", which is official. Nowadays Gmail identifies spam emails & store automatically in spam category although still you have to keep an eye on the email-id via which you received the mail before even thinking of clicking the mail or attachments on it. 

Check official domain names & spell of it after @ as mail might look so real that's what scammers take advantages by cloning the exact mail so cross checking is important if your are receiving emails related to password reset of your accounts or with attachments as they can be malicious if faked.

Scammers would use similar email addresses to scam such as "noreply@pytm.co"etc. to try and fool the recipient.

If a scam email needs a reply from you, you'll see that the "Reply-To" field has a different email address than the one that sent you the email.

There are three major email security technologies used-SPF, DKIM, and DMARC. These technologies help the recipients of the emails check whether it is really from the recipient or a scammer instead.
